Making Waves In WiFi Access Advertising

A ground breaking new advertising platform has been built that can super-impose banner ads onto the users browsing experience via the WiFi hotspot infrastructure. In addition, access to these WiFi hotspots are only granted by way of a highly innovative technique called social profile login. Previously Sion was Technical Director at Media Receive, which specialised in developing cutting edge Microsoft Media Centres. The company also helped form the Media Centre Integrator Alliance and worked alongside UK based architects and property developers to create ‘Microsoft Smart Homes’. The company was one of the driving forces behind what we now know as BT Vision. 

Before becoming an entrepreneur Sion spent 5+ years with the Royal Corps of Signals, British Forces as an IT/ Telecoms & Network Engineer. Sion served in specialist branches of the military including Electronic Warfare, Satellite, Radio and Cryptography during both piece time (from sites in Cyprus, Wiltshire and London) and operationally from the Middle East. Prior to that he completed his diploma in Electronic Engineering and Industrial Electronics, he also completed his NVQ Level 3 in Telecommunications, Cisco/ Microsoft/ Prince 2 Certification and Leadership and Management NVQ's at the Royal School of Signals in the South East of England.
